Your e-letter to me seems as if you don’t believe me when I wrote, “News Tip: Big Bear police are at the libary now with guns out.”

I think it is best if your newspaper takes us writers who are spellingly challenged more seriously.

The Big Bear Sheriffs department appeared to be ready to enter the library and the one officer I saw did have his gun drawn and was only about 10 yards from the front door.

Your paper seems paranoid when we citizens of Big Bear bring a negative fact to you. If you want a safer Big Bear then face the facts. There are evil people in Big Bear. It’s not a safe as you may think. I see the skinheads on the buss and their not all teenagers.

I see the drug deals going down by the Smoken Bear smoke shop next to the Sports Bar, just one block from the grade school. I see these deals going down every time I do my laundry at Clean Jeans laundry matt.

If your paper would have called the library you would have known the facts rather then send me an intimidating email letter.
